  • Parallel Global Voices corpora

    Parallel Global Voices is a set of parallel and monolingual corpora generated from the Global Voices multilingual group of websites (https://globalvoices.org/), where volunteers publish and translate news stories in more than 40 languages. The original content from the Global Voices websites is available by the authors and publishers under a Creative Commons Attribution license. The content was crawled in July-August 2015 by researchers at the NLP group of the Institute for Language and Speech Processing.   • RDA Eighth Plenary Meeting (15-17.09.2016)

    The 8th RDA Plenary Meeting (15-17 September 2016) offers a unique opportunity for networking and collaboration among colleagues and peers from various disciplines, on topics related to research data sharing and exchange. Besides keynote talks by leading members of the community, important features of the RDA Plenary include the highlighting of organizations who have adopted RDA’s outputs, meetings of Working Groups and Interest Groups, and ‘Birds of a Feather’ discussions, which explore new potential working or interest group topics. The Meeting will also host a marketplace for small and medium enterprises involved with Big Data.
